Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What age is Camp EFFE appropriate for?

A:  Our camp is designed for children entering kindergarten to 12 years old.

We split the campers into two groups; 5-8 years old and 9-12 years old.

Q: How many campers are enrolled from week-to-week?

A:  We have space for up to a max of 25 campers.

Q: What does a typical day entail?

A:  We are an outdoor camp, which means we spend almost all of our time outside (weather dependent).  This is also why our camp day is a bit shorter than others.  We are constantly on the move, from herding sheep to harvesting vegetables to creek walks, which at the end of day results in happy, but exhausted campers!

Q: What are the hours of camp?

A: Our hours are from 9am-2pm.  Morning carline begins at 8:50am and afternoon carline begins at 1:50pm.

Q: Is snack and lunch provided?

A: Food is not provided, we ask each camper to bring a snack, lunch, and a refillable water bottle.  We have a refrigerator on site, however we cannot heat any food.  Cooking is one of our many activities, but it does not replace snack or lunch!

Q: Will my child ride horses?

A: We do not offer horseback riding.  However, our campers have the opportunity to meet the horses on our farm and learn about caring for them, what they eat, and what their jobs are.

Q: How much does a week of camp cost?

A: One week of camp costs $500.

Q: Do you offer discounts?

A:  We offer sibling discounts; $75 off each week per sibling

(I.e. $500 for first child, $425 for siblings)
